Our beloved Giving Circle co-founder, Susan Kelton, has gone home to be with Jesus! While we miss her deeply, we hope to carry on her wonderful legacy, including generosity with her time, talents, and treasures, as well as her renowned gratefulness.
Susan passed away on January 31, 2018, after a courageous 2 1/2-year battle against cancer. Her most cherished role was wife to Mac and mother to her three boys. Her love for people was evident throughout her 38 years as a realtor. Susan had a heart for education and proudly worked to help establish Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville. Susan's generous spirit led to the co-founding of The Giving Circle. She is also the co-author of the book, My Grandmother is Praying for Me. Susan's life was marked by her great love for friends and family, but her faith in Jesus Christ was her greatest treasure; it was the source of her grateful and joyful spirit.
Susan is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mac Kelton, three sons - Rhett (Andrea), Jeremy, and Clay (Rebecca), and five grandchildren - Wyatt, Kendall, Piper, Lainey, and Knox.
